Our little Italian restaurant is cosy, inviting and friendly and is situated in the heart of the river side village of Warkworth. Aldo, whose family comes from the Northern Italian region of Veneto, has extensive culinary expertise and has worked around the world in some of the top restaurants and resorts. 

Aldo loves to cook classic and traditional family style Italian dishes, for example  penne pasta with crab and calamari, ricotta and spinach ravioli, veal Marsala, calamari fritti and Aldo’s famous mascarpone tiramisu. Check our blackboard specials on Instagram. 

We have a real passion for drinking exceptional espresso and our Italian coffees are delicious for many different reasons. We care about all the elements of coffee making, from using a personal blend of Italian Lavazza coffee beans, grinding them fresh and maintaining our own coffee machine in perfect condition.

We serve short black, flat white, cappuccino, Americano, latte etc, all made with the same attention to detail. The beautiful Lavazza blend is found in Aldo’s Italian tiramisu, one of our signature desserts. We are fully licensed with a hand selected wine and beer list featuring locally sourced, Canterbury and Italian wines.
